Well where did 2014 go to? I know I didn't manage anywhere near as much modelling as I had intended, how about you?

May 2015 see your painting reduce the lead mountains, and your acquisitions replenish it…

    Having now returned to wargaming in 2012 after a 25 year break I can say I am thoroughly enjoying it.
    There appears to be a much wider range of figures and accessories available, for all periods and theatres, than I was used to...

    Having always been drawn to the more 'irregular' troops I find the Jacobite / Williamite wars in Scotland and Ireland and the Russian troops of the Great Northern War to be particularly fascinating.
    The birth of modern uniformed regiments, but with sufficient variation between units to produce a colourful 'gaming table.

    In addition to these periods, using Beneath the Lily Banners ruleset, I also dabble in SAGA (Norse, and tempted by Steppe Tribes!), Dux Britanniarum (Jutes), Hollow Crown (Scots, Harlaw 1411), WW2 British Airborne using the newly released Chain of Command rules from Too Fat Lardies, and now tempted by current Afghan conflict using the 'Skirmish Sangin' rules, again with the Para's…

    I'm also working with some others to adapt the Donnybrook skirmish rules for the medieval period!
